True story, which I was in high school I would come home, cut a lemon in half and eat the whole thing with a shaker of salt...honestly I still would if it wasn’t so horrible for your teeth! It really is a great source if vitamin c- but horribly aweful for your enamel 😝😝 One really great way to start off your day is to drink water with lemon.. it’s a great detox, hydrates your skin, improves digestion and honestly makes plain water way more enjoyable! (IMO)

If you have ever had a difficult time with not only knowing how to drink water, but also with learning how to fit it into a healthy lifestyle of working out and eating healthy, then this challenge is for you! My team and I are hosting a FREE virtual "Healthy and HIIT" challenge April 6-10, 2020. Not only will you learn how to properly drink water for 5 days, but you will also gain great education on the 30 Days to Healthy Living, PLUS participate in a full body HIIT workout! waterchallenge Wow, what a month it has been! Our lives have been turned upside down by this pandemic (and newborns 😍). All of us are being told to stay home as much as possible, some of us are having to work extra hours as essential employees, and many of us are also having to now homeschool our kids on top of all that. So whether you find yourself with extra time or extra stress, now is not the time to forgo your health and fitness! If anything, now is the time to kick it up a notch, boost our immune system, destress, and set good examples for our kiddos. Gyms are temporaryily closed but don't let that stop you from getting your sweat on! Go for walks, take a jog, find an online workout video! There are so many great programs for health and fitness, and many of them have free resources or trial membership. But you don't have to do this alone! I love my online health and fitness community because we support and encouage one another constantly! We even zoom during our workouts for extra support and accountability 😍. And who doesn't need some of that right now? 
Personally, I'm needing to take baby steps to get back to where I was in February! So every week this month I'm going to focus on one aspect of my nutrition to try and get back on track and would love some accountability if anyone wants to join me! Water helps with; -detoxification
-constipation/digestive issues

-decreases food cravings
-decreases the feeling of fatigue 
Here are 𝟓 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 to increase your water intake.

1-Flavour your water with citrus fruits, cucumber or fresh herbs like mint.

2-Set a timer to remind you to drink every hour.

3-Use a designated, reusable, 1L container that allows you to easily keep track of intake (I.e. S'well or Contigo). 4-Write it down, keep a water journal.

5-There's an app for that! (Hydro, Waterlogged). ⁣Your challenge is to drink 3L of water per day! 
Make your submissions by, 𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐬 in a post of your favorite type of water bottle or water drinking selfie (You can DM us your submissions as well).

Es muy importante mantener la hidratación, ya que el agua se encarga de muchas funciones en nuestro organismo. Cada célula, tejido y órgano del cuerpo necesita agua para funcionar. Entre las muchas funciones que tiene, el agua nos ayuda a mantener la temperatura corporal, a eliminar los desechos y a lubricar las articulaciones. El agua es el componente mayoritario de nuestro organismo. Representa aproximadamente un 65-70% del peso total de nuestro cuerpo.👭

En general es bueno consumir agua antes de tener la sensación de sed, ¿por qué? Pues porque una vez que la persona ya siente sed, quiere decir que el cuerpo está a cierto nivel de deshidratación. Dicho de otra forma, no te confíes de que no tienes sed. Esa sensación de sed llega cuando ya es tarde. A partir de una pérdida de agua de un 2% del peso corporal, disminuye el rendimiento deportivo, pudiendo ser esta disminución de más de un 30% del rendimiento.❤️🤳

Where are you for day 1 ??!! I woke up at 5am .. didn’t drink anything until 10am and I am on my 2nd cup so far ! I added #iasotea to my first cup and included lemon/lime to my gallon!
